Mrs. Shane, I want to take this time to thank you for coming into our class. Your presentation gives people like us that are in training for a new career a ray of hope going into the business world. The most important thing I took from you is to have the ambition and the drive to go where I want to go. To have contacts in the business world is a good thing, but if people do not have goals that they aim to achieve then they will always come up short in life. I knew before that the only person that can get me where I want to go is me, but your presentation gave me an added "I Can and Will" outlook for my future. I wanted you to know I appreciated your motivational speech and look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future.

July 20, 2009 Deborah, I just wanted to thank you for your invitation to come to the mentoring circle. Not only has it been very informational for me both personally and professionally but the opportunities and doors that have been opened for our girls have been incredible.
I would very much like to thank you for all of the connections you helped make for CG. Kathy from Red Salon gave this girl an up do and a facia and have a professional salon experience. Valerie from Planet Mall Graphics has been instrumental in setting up modeling opportunities for her and came to the school with a guest, to speak of fashion design and modeling opportunities, which gave all of the girls great opportunities to learn about career goals. Thanks for bringing the importance of mentoring and how it can change lives. Sincerely, Patricia Gens, Counselor, Pace Center for Girls, SW Florida June 30, 2009 Deborah,

April 20, 2009 Deborah, I just wanted to thank you for an amazing luncheon. The luncheon touched me in many ways. First it touched my student and opened many doors for her. It also helped her to see the comradery of professional women. Your “spheres” made me realize a way in which I myself can broaden my personal “Spheres”. I have always thought that PACE needed a mentoring program for these girls. You helped me realize it can start with me.

March 13, 2009 Deborah, Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in the Career Transition course. The Professional Skills Module was excellent! It gave me a lot of new fresh ideas on selling myself in this market. I left feeling invigorated and ready to take on my job search with a whole new attitude. The flyer you passed out with the reading festival on it, had uncommon friends foundation on it and it was like a sign. I left there and called a friend, who was recently made thier marketing coordinator and asked if they needed any help volunteering, as luck would have it they had the symphony playing that weekend and she needed help taking money. I worked all day with her and met a lot of interesting people and wound up with a small job (4 hours a week) helping with their bookkeeping and computer maintenance. It is a foot in the door and a great way to network on top of being involved in a great organization! You really made a difference.
Thanks Again, Stacy Ossowicz March 6, 2009 Debrorah Shane has been a blessing to both our staff and students here at PACE. Her presentations to the girls are quite informative and motivating. Her recent “Transition to Life” workshop was particularly relevant and inspiring for our students who will soon be leaving the classroom for the real world. Deborah has helped the staff at PACE identify strengths, as well as weaknesses of our Program. Through her guidance we are currently working toward increasing consistency throughout the program. We truly appreciate all of her assistance.

February 23, 2009 Deborah, It was so amazing meeting you yesterday! If I could describe the meeting yesterday in four words, refreshing, invigorating, inspiring, and powerful are best fitting. I would like to thank you for bringing us all together. To be among powerful business women sharing thoughts in such a positve atmosphere is a dream come true. It is such an amazing learning experience and after the past few months in my new position, the things that best connect with me are personable, positive, and proactive approaches. I bring this up because the meeting yesterday hit every one like a nail on the head. I really felt connected and leaving I felt very proactive!

November 22, 2008 Deborah, When I walked in that day, I had no idea what to expect. I had a very positive, maybe you could even say “healing” experience that day as I listened to you share your wisdom. I am so glad I went, because I needed to hear your motivational words, as well as the insight I received from the other women who attended. In fact, I left with a clarity that I had been missing recently. I will definitely be attending more of your workshops in the future.

March 11, 2008 Deborah: I had the most positive experience from attending this seminar and I had to write you about it. The energy in the room was amazing as well as the women in the room. In particular, I really enjoyed the presentation by Rene Bledsoe; she was an excellent speaker that had a message that spoke to me in volumes. I think for the first time I understand the “web” and how to make it work for our organization. January 23, 2008 This series was absolutely the most enriching experience I have ever had, in both an educational seminar and/or networking event. When she says "netucation", Deborah Shane means it; this series is education and networking in one. The flavor of the group is exciting, the atmosphere is warm, the relationships gained are valuable and the education you acquire is beyond anything you can receive anywhere else. Deborah Shane has really found her niche, and she is good at what she does. I came away with a stronger sense of self, and a renewed commitment to myself and my career, and I believe that will happen again and again, with each seminar and series offered. Holly E. April 9, 2007 I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with Deborah Shane since 1997. I was just beginning to develop my securities law practice and Deborah created some wonderful radio commercials and an advertising strategy that has worked miracles for my law practice for over a decade. She was an integral part of the success of my overall advertising. Her energy and enthusiasm helped motivate me and my staff to pursue clients and cases and get valuable feed back from them. I highly recommend Deborah Shane to anyone who needs assistance in sales, marketing, motivation, or simply somebody to help develop a business or advertising plan.
Yours truly, Darren C. Blum Blum & Silver, LLC . . . . . . . . . . . . February 19, 2007 I worked with Deborah Shane from 1998 to 2005 at Clear Channel Radio Miami, where I was the VP/ General Manager of the seven station cluster. She volunteered to help develop and implement training for the launch of our Clear Channel University Mentor program for new employees in 2003.
